Birthday parties or any party for that matter can be expensive.  If you are sending out invitations or providing some party favors, free printables off the Net are a great way to reduce the cost of a birthday party for kids.  At Print With My Pic, there are free templates that allow you to add your own photos and make printable birthday cards, birthday party invitations and party favors.

If you want to make a birthday card to match your theme theme, you can.  All you need to do is upload an image for your birthday theme, personalize the text, and print.  Here are the template layouts:

Those are birthday themed templates but there are also full frame templates you can personalize to make birthday cards for boys or birthday cards for girls:

To customize these and make fun birthday cards, you just need to add the picture to match your theme, sweets and treats, pirates, princess, ladybugs, puppies, kittens, whatever you are using for the party.  So if you are throwing a themed birthday party, etc. just add those images. After that you can edit the photo and any text in the card or invitation.

Printable party supplies and party ideas:

The portrait and landscape invitation makers can be used to make small game cards to use at the party and also to give away as party favors.  Using these templates, you can print onto small index cards and use these for games like concentration, Go Fish, Old Maid or even as scavenger hunt cards.  You can add your own text if you want or just print them as is.

So, using these templates, you can print birthday party supplies for boys, girls, and adults, for example, by making 2 sets of 12-15 character cards.  At the party, kids can use these to play the games mentioned above.  Then at the end of the party, give the same cards away as party favors.  If you print on index cards, they should be sturdy enough for games and to give away.  However, for extra durability and quality, consider laminating the cards.  That will give more of a glossy finish and protect the cards from grease, water and cake frosting :)

Another option for free party favors is a calendar for your theme.  You can print a calendar for a birthday party as birthday party gift bag stuffers, etc.  Just add the picture matching your theme to a printable calendar and drop one in everyone’s gift bag.
