Save the Date Bookmark Templates | printable save-the-date bookmarks and unique wedding ideas

The biggest objective of a save-the-date announcement is to get your recipient to remember the date.  Hopefully, they mark it down in their calendar right away, but save-the-date magnets for the fridge are a pretty common item to help keep it fresh in everyone’s mind until that formal invitation goes out.  A printable save-the-date bookmark will do pretty much the same.  Check out these online save-the-date template ideas:

These are bookmark templates you can personalize with any information you want.  Here are some examples for save-the-date wordings and editing the save-the-date card.  There’s a title line with up to 3 lines for most of the templates, so it’s a great place to write “Save the date!”.  There are also a few more lines of smaller text, where you can write the date, city, church name and “Invitation to follow” or “See you there!”.  Each of the templates let’s you change the colors for the backgrounds.  There are 6 different fonts you can choose from as well.  You can add a photo right from your computer, edit the photo in the photo frame by zooming in, zooming out, rotating the picture and moving it around in the picture frame. Everything is done right on the online bookmark maker template, so you can see all of the changes as you are making them.

Printing an engagement bookmark: You can add thicker stock photo paper to print on.  You can print 1 engagement announcement bookmark or up to 4 engagement reminder bookmarks at a time.  If you use a thicker paper there’s no need to laminate the bookmarks. Just punch a hole in them and add a ribbon if you’d like, or just send them as is along with your save-the-date.  However, if you are using plain 8.5×11 paper, you might want to reinforce the bookmark with something.  Laminating the bookmarks is the best.  Ask a friends that’s a kindergarten or school teacher if they know where you can get your hands on a free laminater for an hour.  They’re your best bet.

There are plenty of free save-the-date templates on the site as well.  You can print them out and also add in a bookmark to go with it.  They’ll make a nice printable engagement stationery set if you put them together.  Use the same photo or a photo from the same engagement photo shoot.  They won’t be identical, but they’ll match – a good combination in my opinion.

All of the announcement templates can be customized and used as free printable wedding stationery, thank you cards, and of course save-the-dates to print.  The save-the-date bookmarks are just a unique idea for save-the-date announcements and reminders.  Save some money and do something original and unexpected with your engagement announcements.  The site doesn’t mark any of the templates with a URL so your friends will never know. :)
